Spent a good part of the day working with StangATX trying to figure out the issue with rooting. No luck yet, but through Kingroot I installed StangATXs newest theme, and its pretty cool. Here it is for your viewing pleasure!

for the RPM and MPH gauge, does it work on base model or needs the PP pack?

Also for GPS, what gps software does it run, is google maps compatible?

FYI: I just finished putting up the original manual on the Wiki, with large pictures for easier reading (the PDF version was very hard to navigate for me while I was in the car, so hopefully this helps folks with the installation).

As soon as I get my new CAN bus and USB cables for the Premium model, I'll amend "Premium model step 6" with some pictures.

Also, step 5 only applies if you have the performance pack. If not, you need the tachometer mod (currently on [MENTION=20219]StangATX[/MENTION]'s blog), which I'll also put on the Wiki. [MENTION=20219]StangATX[/MENTION] / [MENTION=22748]soldier989[/MENTION], do you mind if I re-use the pictures you have up on the blog?

I think that's what the RCA's attached to the main harness are for. (The harness that has the CANBUS Black and Yellow wires on it too)

I have a Premium model and haven't installed the Tesla unit yet. So...am I missing the CAN bus and USB cables too?!? or....did they just not pack them in with your unit when it was shipped???

No, you need to modify one of the connectors the unit came with and plug 2 wires into pins 53 and 54 on the large connector that used to go into the SYNC module. Information is located at StangATX.tk

Models with a factory premium radio need different cables for installation.

No, there are 2 RCA OUTPUTS on the harness that you install the CANBUS wires into. Look at the first post.

Maybe we should edit the 1st post, making note that those cables are for Mustang High models....just a thought.

Patrick and I were talking, and he advised me to shoot an email to him regarding my missing "Mustang High Cables". I emailed him this morning at 8 o'clock, and have already gotten a response from him, saying that he will be sending them out. Hopefully......with a little bit of luck, I might get them in time to install this weekend.

Well, he just emailed me and said he's sending me a stock of premium cables, instead of sending them directly to you guys... Ugh. I'll get them to yoi asap. He also said they're not having any luck on a recovery mode.
