The *GOAL* of the group buy is to get it for under $600. Hopefully $560 shipped. We're working on it, but again- With all of the people that are taking it upon themselves to haggle for units one at a time, it lowers the sellers desire to sell small bulk orders for less, because he's still selling them at the higher price point.

Exactly. Some people don't care about team effort or patience, they just want what they want, and they want it now. They also seem to forget that the unit started at $760, Pablo got it to $700, I got it to $620, and they're just hitchhiking off our efforts saying, "Well, I know other people paid THIS much, I want it cheaper."

Yep....I know, and it pisses me off. If I were you guys, I'd share this information for the people who were involved with the group buys...ONLY!

Others who have taken it upon themselves to work something out with the seller on Ebay (to try and save a few bucks) SHOULD HAVE TO PAY for all the effort you and guys like StangATX & Pablo have done/doing to further this whole thing...

Personally, I would do that, if the site were mine. Nobody is paying anyone here to help, we're doing it out of camaraderie. We're not profiting, and in fact, we're pissing off our wives in the process! (Mine has actually been a pretty good sport about it, she even brought me dinner in the car the night I was trying to unbrick the first host.) So far, everyone who IS involved in the group buy has been great, and constantly offering thanks, which we all appreciate, even if we don't say "Thanks for saying thanks," but that's probably because we're on the forum with our phones or laptops in our car trying to make it bigger, better, faster, cooler, and everything else something in a Mustang should be.

I just read through this entire thread. I already messaged [MENTION=20219]StangATX[/MENTION] and filled out the poll. I have learned a lot reading through all of the pages. I am appreciative of all of the information that has been shared and I don't even have one of the unit's yet, but I cant wait to get one. I'm not up on all of the android programming or electronics, but I am interested to learn and hopefully(maybe) contribute.

Understood, but to be clear, I only contacted the seller on my own because SOMEONE said he wasn't doing anymore group buys...

I'm no developer, just a guy addicted to tinkering, who never leaves anything alone... Right now, I'm focusing more on aesthetics, and trying to create a perfect boot screen.

I get that, and I was just teasing. I have asked you and [MENTION=20219]StangATX[/MENTION] for a little ono-on-one help via a phone call, and you were both nice enough to agree to that; I really appreciate that. I will also pay for that support. You guys are great, I really appreciate the forum, advice, and support.

Well, put it back where ya got it from! Turn them both off, reboot, and try again.

Tried it, no change what so ever.

Will try the Feb upgrade tonight, since my work internet refuses to download the entire file.

Anyone have an issue with the back up cam video being washed out I can hardly see the lines most of the time on mine. I couldn't find any settings to adjust the video either.:shrug:

It only happens to me when I reverse when the boot screen is still up and loading. Other than that, I haven't had any issues.

It finally finished. I rebooted twice and I don't see ANY differences at all. Please remind me what Feb2017 was supposed to do.
I still see Celsius and kph
