I believe so, there were several RCAs that I didn't use, very similar to the Tesla head unit I had.

I ended up buying the unit for 450 on e-bay from user (dvdgps-manufacturer) and am happy with it. Reverse camera works fine and they even sent me a video on how to re-program the physical keys on the side. :cheers:

Where did guys buy your units from? I think I am going to get one but I want to make sure I get the new part.

don't know if anyone has tried this but I was able to get the voice button to work... but only in Chinese.

Yes, it's the board with the buttons/toggles. It's easy to get at, just a few screws. But without it you can't start your car so being without it for a month is not an option unless you put your stock unit back in.

Yeah it's just the circuit board on the head unit is bad or has a loose connection

The issue with your ac controls not working is the ac pcb. Mine did that when I first got mine. You will need a replacement most likely but I found sometimes tapping the area where the controls are will allow it to work. This manufacturer seems to have major quality issues with that part, the...

When I got mine the start up screen had Chinese text on it. It went away when I went into the advanced screen and changed mine to "Mustang Hi". I have a base model so I had to change mine back after though.

What did you end up going with and how did you install the sub?

I looked at the unboxing pictures and didn't see anything that looked liked it said Key1 or 2. If someone hasn't done it by tomorrow I can check, ill be taking mine out to install the HVAC board and new WIFI antenna.

Think we can change this some how? I'd rather use the app on the device so I can see album art and all the coolness that goes along with having the App run native on the device

There is a Chinese user manual PDF file inside the unit, has anyone translated it? PS not talking about the install manual.

The back up camera plugs into the yellow RCA labeled camera. Not sure about the other questions

do you need to be rooted to install the custom rom?
