I need a shit list! To those of you who have it installed so far, what are your gripes? Here's what I have so far...

1. The Orange Mustang theme is cheesy, Black theme is preferred, but US weather.
2. LED's are green, instead of blue.
3. Outside temp is C not F
4. Slow boot time
5. "Dail" and "Please Attention the surroundings" Engrish

I've recently install the unit yesterday and I think it would be a good idea to be able to choose an app for the each shortcuts. similar to the nav settings. (i.e Movie --> another app besides HD player) just a thought :shrug:

That's actually a good idea, there are 3 or 4 video players already installed on the unit. What's gonna be REALLY awkward is when he gets my old host back in China, because there is a video on my unit that is gonna make them blush.

5. Dail was fixed at least on mine after using updated apk on stangatx.tk,
didn't see the second engrish you mentioned yet.

You'll see it when you put it in reverse after the unit is completely booted.

I now see theres multiple people referring to the USB cable that came with their unit. Is it supposed to come with one officially? I was told that Patrick got one by accident and they do not come with a USB cable.

They do not come with a USB cable. (At least they aren't supposed to.) They connect to the existing USB ports in your car. I was sent one for R&D as well as testing, but the cable ended up being bad. (Go figure.)

I know you have to connect the 2 cables to pins 53and54 which i've done

It was automatic for me. Did you connect the other end of that Yellow/Black cable to the unit on the main harness?

I believe there's an option in the settings. Look at Patrick's video.

Mine is rooted but has the same issue. Always stays on the original chinese navi:(
Patrick said you need to make sure you reboot the unit after you make the changes in the settings so it saves.

This is why I'm kinda glad I didn't have time to install mine over the weekend, hopefully some of this little stuff will be ironed out in the next week or so...

New issue could be loose connector but...
when the unit boots I only get sound out of front passenger speaker then if I shut it off and turn it back on I get front pass and driver rear speaker
