yeah might do that... just seems a bit expensive compared to all other knobs I've seen. then to have to modify it... just checking to see if I can avoid that.Find a machine shop to modify it for you.

You could always just find the one you like and order the most basic option. Once you get it, take it to a leather shop or someone that does interiors. I'd probably order with a powdercoat or some kind of texture to give the leather something to grip to, but seems like it would work.<--Still waiting for a nice and simple all leather covered shift knob, too hot here in Phoenix for anything else.
