% of PP sold ?

Anybody know how many PP cars are sold vs non PP cars :shrug:


Seems like everybody here has the PP on there car. I only saw one on all the dealers lots I visited.

I think that most of the people on this forum are people that would tend to mod their cars and therefore would be more likely to get a PP.
From what I've seen on the street, a vast majority of EB cars are non PP.

When I was searching for mine, the local dealerships all had base trim with PP pack. I mean base down to audio and interior. They were looking at it as being more like the old LX 5.0 mustangs, or the SN-95 GTS. The problem is, that was around June of last year, and they still have all of those sitting on their lots with buyers wanting all the bells a whistles. I told them that whomever was doing their ordering needed to step outside for a while and see what's what. I had them do a dealer trade and locate mine.

Definitely a bit harder to find on the lots then the non-PP cars.
Use autotrader.com or cargurus.com then filter the search for performance pack cars only. You'll see that they are out there.

Based on what I see driving around, not too many are PP. Most are V6 or EB cars, and very few have the black PP wheels.

I think you'll find "enthusiasts" on this website are more inclined to have PP models, either GT's or EB's (and no disrespecting V6 owners ) because of the performance/mod factor. I'm in NJ and I'd say it's much more rare to see a GT or EB PP than non PP cars, overwhelmingly.

Unless you bought from Houston - one of the dealerships there had like half of all the GT's on the lot in PP trim, haha.

Yeah there might be more PP owners on this site than non-PP simply because most people on here are enthusiasts. However, I wouldn't say that's indicative of the broader population. Almost all EB's I see are non-PP and only about a third to half of the GT's I see are PP.

I guess I am one of those guys that did not want to spend 40k+ on a loaded mustang. I wanted a base gt with pp, thats it. And found a 2017 one for 29250. I do wish it had recaro seats though :(

I remember when I was waiting for mine to be built the scheduling for parts was a challenge because so many were GT PP's.
