I've been looking at some of the different year GT350s and it seems that there are 2 different seat types. A Recaro and a normal type. Is this an option you can add?

Maybe it's the difference between the GT350 and GT350R...

19 & 20's seem to offer more of the leather trimmed seats than Recaro's. You know, to better cater to our fat asses in the US. At 6'3" and 240lbs, I can't gain a pound more and fit into my Recaro's.

So, do you think I could buy a set of recaros with a doctors note, saying it’s a weight retention tool, and pay with my HSA? That’d be sweet!

I have the Dairy Queen seats, and while fantastically comfortable and more-than-reasonably bolstered for street driving, I would find them a bit lacking on-track. Experience at the GT350 track attack w/ Recaros was good, but I don't know that I could sit in them for >4 hours.

5'10" 200 relatively athletic, FWIW. Sit in both, but the Recaros have the cool factor and save you $500.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
When I had both my 16 and then 17 being a real old fart I wanted the sofa seats since I was never gonna track them. They were the ultimate. Heated/cooled and with all the power up/down adjustments I could drive for hours and never a problem.

The only adjustment I need for the Recaro is a wider seat or slimmer bolstering esp on the left thigh. It's awkward being on a date and excusing yourself to adjust the boys. Other than that I could sit in this seats all day.
