Has anyone replaced their OEM seatbelts for another set? I am wanting to change the color and trying to see if a company makes an OEM replacement in white.

Edit: I should have placed this in interior mods forum.

Yup. One of my top favorite mods I've done. Love it. And not a single person ever notices it or says a word, LOL! Annoy's the f$%& outta me, hahahahah.
I used Safety Restore, but there's a few out there and I'd imagine they all do the exact same damn thing.

But jeez, i can't imagine getting white, depeding on how picky you are. Seat belts get dirty, period. Even though I don't have an R, there's still alot of red in the interor (steering wheel stripe, stitching in the floor mats, shifter lettering, start button, roll cage, etc), so that's why i went red.

White would look great, but as mentioned, it will get super dirty. I like my yellow, but when I was getting the belt length set, one strap briefly touches my clean garage floor and immediately had dirt on it.

But if you clean it, I suppose it would be just fine. I just don't have patience for that.

Was I reading and hearing the video on Safety Restore’s site correctly that you send your OEM belts to them and they swap for the colored belt of your choice?

that’s what the video says, but they turn them in 24 hours, so that’s nice!

I do like the idea of a color matched or complementary color seatbelt. Dammit, something else I may have to spend some money on 😂

Yup, that's what they do. Super fast turn around. They just swap out the webbing in all of your hardware and send it right back.

I am planning to do a carbon fiber stripe and velocity blue on my oxford white, so I wanted white seatbelts to match car.

I get that they might get dirty over time, but I would not think it would be a quick thing as I baby the hell out of the car as it is.
