@K4fxd , let me see if i can clarify
Driver side switch cluster doesnt work the driver side window. However it does work passenger side window.
When I took the door panel off and removed the harness to the motor, water came out.
With the harness connected back to the motor:
If I use my light probe with aligator clip attached a nut in the door jamb , and touch pin 20, and also trigger the driver window switch, the window goes up.
If I touch pin 19 , while light probe is connected to nut in door jamb and i push the switch down, the window goes down.
I i remove the aligator clip from the nut in the door jamb, and try to trigger either up or down, the window does nothing.
Note, when I open the door, it also does the quarter inch drop so it clears the rain gaurd.
I not sure what other test I can do to identify where the actual issue is.
Is it possible the motor has a ground problem internally?
What tests can i do on the switch and other end of the harness to determine if the switch is the issue?
Im willing to try anything, I can follow instructions pretty good (at least my wife says I do)
Thank you for the help, i had posted my own post and on another forum and everyone viewed but no responses.
So I thank you very much for at least responding.
Regards
