Hi,
My convertible 2016 GT has developed a strange problem.
After driving for a short time the window on the drivers side won't go down when using the switch. If I press and hold (approx 1-1.5 seconds) and then try again straight away it will go up/down. If it's held too long it doesn't work on the next press and the next press needs to be immediately after releasing for it to work.
The window will go down no problem when press/hold the unlock button on the keyfob. It will also go down no problem when I unlatch the roof and press the 'fold roof' switch.
When the window is down I can push the switch to lower window over and over and I can hear some noise like a relay reacting immediately to the toggle switch.
I have tried training the window again (up, hold until click / 2s then down, hold) over and over but it doesn't do anything. I have also swapped out the window switch itself as I narrowed it down to only being problematic when using that switch - but it suffers the same fault.
Anyone have any idea what might be causing it? The window motor seems to be fine but the command to raise/lower the window from the door switch just seems to not get through unless I press and hold it first. It's never got stuck up/down but it's a nuisance. The rest of the switches work effortlessly in the switch unit.
Before I go chasing the wrong solution does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
