  1. Odd power window issue

Did you ever fix it? My drivers window on a coupe only works on the switch sometimes…. Other times the switch won’t work. The auto drop and raise when you open/close the door works fine. I have taken the door apart and found the connector was full of water. No obvious corrosion. Cleaned with...
  2. Anybody running 4 or 5 point harness

No….. not true. the design of the three point and pre-tensioner means the lap belt tightens as your chests pushes forwards. This pulls your waist into the seat. But it allows some deceleration if the upper body too. It’s why all manufacturers still use that design. A fixed harness system does...
  3. Anybody running 4 or 5 point harness

🤷‍♂️ just putting my thoughts out there to hopefully prevent injury/death as I have seen plenty. Hans may help stop neck injury caused by using harnesses (which is protected by a three point and air bag already) but increases risk in roll over without the full kit. For me I wouldn’t risk it...
  4. Anybody running 4 or 5 point harness

That’s good but the four point still won’t offer anything other then making you feel more planted and looks. At the cost of being less safe. But up to you (I have seen some very mangled bodies at crashes so I may be over cautious).
  5. Anybody running 4 or 5 point harness

I looked into all this years ago for a track car. Basically I found out that it’s generally safer to have the original set up than a part race setup. IE it’s all or nothing. Four point harnesses are not safe. A standard three point is safer. The lack of anti submarine strap means you will slide...
  6. Changing UK headlights 15-17 models to get OEM tribars

Why not just get the DD ones then you have exactly what you want. If they fail after a few years you can just unplug them and you see are just back to normal… or they may last for as long as you have the car.
  7. Changing UK headlights 15-17 models to get OEM tribars

They do just white ones… they are the ones I have and the indicator is an option. If you look at my post I think you will agree they look identical to Fords. The boards could go wrong…. But if they do you buy another set for like £150. There are not that many posts about problems really… cheap...
  8. Changing UK headlights 15-17 models to get OEM tribars

Not that hard to do, looks as good as Fords and reliable so far. Replacing the complete front end instead is a massively expensive way https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/custom-driving-light-grill-and-tri-bars-fitted.164517/#post-3352719 Could always do red rears too 🙂...
  9. RHD Oil cooler upgrade with some pictures

That’s on an American car, obviously you can mount the cooler there if you like on a U.K. car but I’m still not sure about the “Mach 1 take off”. I would love to see some pics of a U.K. one to see if it is set out the same. I don’t see that it can be as the right hand drive steering box is the...
  10. Demon eyes

You will probably have to use a multi meter and work out which wires do what on the car then match those to the listed wires on the instructions. Which ones you choose depends on what you want to trigger them? If opening up the headlights doesn’t phase you, it won’t be hard to sort it out with...
  11. Custom driving light grill and tri bars fitted

Thank you 🙂 And yes I swapped the red and white wires around and got the dimmer with headlights on, brighter with them off as a result. it really is a shame the instructions are so lacking!
  12. RHD Oil cooler upgrade with some pictures

We will have to ask an owner to take some pics as apparently it uses the 350 one but I can’t see how that would work with the U.K. steering box which is what caused this whole issue in the first place.
  13. RHD Oil cooler upgrade with some pictures

First I have heard about the Mach 1 having a different cooler? Any info on this?
  14. RHD Oil cooler upgrade with some pictures

I got my fittings and cooler from Merlin. There is also a good company that trade via eBay called torques that do all hose and fittings. All good quality stuff. Go for Teflon hose rather then rubber as it will last longer đź‘Ť just make sure you useTeflon compatible fittings.
  15. Custom driving light grill and tri bars fitted

To be honest I was a bit disappointed that the wiring was clearly for US cars despite being a “Euro” kit. The kit also didn’t mention brighter or dimmer settings so I will have to do a bit more research. The t lock clips were purely used due to me being in a rush and I do intend on soldering in...
  16. Custom driving light grill and tri bars fitted

I did obviously reseal the wiring after that last photo. Tri-bars also do sequential indicators. No fogging of the lenses at all as they are fully sealed. No outward sign the lights have been opened even with the bonnet open as the boards are inserted from the underside. I was always...
  17. Custom driving light grill and tri bars fitted

Some of you may have noticed with my other posts I like nods to the classics. I really missed the grill mounted driving lights from my s197so decided to go about making my own. I am not the first to do this so don’t want to steal the credit for the original idea. I also fitted tri-bars at the...

  19. RHD Oil cooler upgrade with some pictures

I got the new cooler delete lower rad hose đź‘Ť. Much better but a little loose on the OE clips so will get some nice stainless ones. OE pipe nicely accessible once the air box is removed (very easy) and the under tray comparison fitted
  20. Are these DRL's any good?

All runs 100% fine. Sequential indicators are nice. I have decided to leave my OE DRL’s and indicators connected for maximum safety but you could easily disconnect those if you wanted. My OE DRL’s are however LED so the colour matches nicely. No 12v feed until one of the lights is on (although...
