OBX headers are here. I'm installing them tomorrow night. They are definitely heavier than my old pypes headers due to thicker wall stainless and larger primaries and larger flange. Quality of materials and welds seems good especially for the price I paid. I feel they are better quality than the pypes headers I had on my 2013 and these cost less. Lifetime warranty came with them as well. They are said to be T-304 and I just tested them with a magnet and they are not magnetic like my stock piping and my old T-409 Flowmasters I have lying around. So they are definitely nonferrous stainless.

My fake cats are perforated tube glass packs just like my dynomax bullets.

They have a collector spike which I do not believe my old pypes headers had.

I didn't take any pics of the connection pipes they are a full 3" performance connect style and I have a custom catback that's all welded so they are getting welded to my X pipe.

I'm sure they will bring the sound levels down about 5dB. My catback consists of X pipe suitcase resonator delete, mid mounted 18" case Dynomax race bullets, rear muffler deletes, 4.5" single wall non rolled stainless tips.
Exhaust Costs.
2 2.5" 18" long case Dynomax race bullets $90
1 2.5" stainless universal X pipe $30
2 4.5" stainless tips $45
OBX headers with bullet resonators and midpipes $600
Muffler deletes $100
Mid muffler and X pipe install $175.
Cost to have mid pipes welded to my catback $? Probably $50

Total cost $1040. Not bad if I could weld and bend pipe it would have been around $750.

I hope they fit good. It's always mixed reviews about OBX stuff.

Where did you get them? Ebay? Trying to get something not that expensive for my car and at $620 they look pretty good. Thanks in advance sir.

eBay. $620 shipped including the resonators and lead pipes is a steal. Next closest is pypes at $900 for their headers with off-road lead pipes and I had pypes (also made overseas) and these appear to be higher quality overall (thicker stainless tubes with larger collector and a merge spike. These are welded mostly on the outside which means the bores are free of weld slag like the pypes had.

I ordered one header flange from OBX it was the biggest POS I ever purchased. The bolt holes were so bad I had to weld them up and re drill them. It was not for Mustang.

I hope that's not the case with these. I'll find out pretty quickly.

I'va always been a fan of OBX and TSP!! I've never had any problems with my OBX headers on my Camaro SS. A few weeks ago when I saved the OBX brand headers in my Ebay home page I saw that a few of them had sold already and I was hoping it would be someone on here. LOL!! Anyway, I wish I had plans to keep my GT so I could put headers on them. As it is, I'm planning to get something in the way of a Z06 or GT350 next year so I won't be purchasing any headers unfortunately. I'm excited for you tho and am looking forward to seeing how the install goes!!

Ive had good luck with them in the past, quality consistency is meh. Check the welds, for fisheyes and shine a light on the outside while looking on the inside for holes. Ive had to do some minor weld repair on them, and their thinner 304 than a quality header and the hardware is junk. If you have some mechanical ability they cant be beat for the price.

Thanks David for posting up the OBX. Can't wait to hear your feedback on these. I had no idea they have a lifetime warranty, too.

I want cats for my header setup. I assume they sell a catted setup, too? I can look on eBay and
