I run NT05R's when on the street, they hook decent on street but I didn't have much luck with them @ the track. For track use I run 28x10x17 hoosiers and they dead hook @ 4.5-5k launch and that is @ no prep track. Full slicks are the way to go for manual.

I just put a set of 305/35/19 on a set of AM 19x10 pp wheels,hopefully i can get to the track before it closes. I was doing 1.9 60ft on the p zero,s with a pp 373 gear car.Hoping to at least get 1.6,s on these.

There is a set of new 305s on EBay right now at a real sexy price. So I'll probably be trying the nittos out and selling my 245 M/Ts this spring.

While I'm not in a GT, I have a set of 275/40-17 NT05s for track day. Stock suspension, car laid down a 1.638 60ft on them last Wednesday. I was leaving at 8-9# of boost, roughly 2800 rpm, and they didn't even wiggle/bark....just planted and went. I'm hoping to get back to the track Saturday and see if they will take even more boost....or say Eff you, we quit...lol.

i have mickey Thompson street radial 2's and i cut low 1.6's all day.

1.890 60ft for me.

4K launch it spun
3500 spun
2500 bogged
2800 bogged but got 1.89 on this 60ft

There were a few other variables in my burn outs. One time they stopped after I lined up because they had to check the track and I sat there for a min before going, another same type of issue.

Next time out take it down to 18 psi, get quality burn out and line up, and launching above 3k

if you heading out to the strip to a TNT night chances are there is no glue laid down
on the track surface . Radials wont do much without a little track prep . However
with prep they are fast and stick amazing

I have pulled 1.6 60' on NT05Rs and consistent 1.7 I did about a 7 second burnout in the water box using the line lock and launching at 4500 RPM the car Dead hooked.

Heading out to Ocala the weekend of Jan 23 for the Wannagofast 1/2 mile shootout. Gonna try out the NT05R 305/35R19 there. Hopefully I can pull some data from the Track apps onboard, they only report trap speed there.

What size? I could only find the 555Rs on their sight in 305 and they were $312 a piece.
