I am having a hard time getting better than a 2.3 60ft. I am definitely a beginner when it comes to racing at the track with a RWD vehicle. My average 60ft time from over six passes is a 2.4. I have the factory 235s, 3.31 gears, and a MT82. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I just want to get better. I've read that members here have gone sub 2.0 on their 60ft times with the factory 235s. Thanks!

Same setup as mine. You are not spinning, so launch harder. Don't drop the clutch to let the motor bog, increase the gas while letting the clutch out to slip it. I usually bring it to 1500, then slip the clutch pretty aggressively while going full throttle. I have been 1.76 on the stock 235's, stock suspension.

Spin the tires to clean them. Stage the car. Bring RPMs up to 2500. Launch car. Let the clutch out progressively. Feed the throttle in at the same rate. Try a one thousand one-one thousand two count in your head as you releasing the clutch. Sixties will improve.

I cut a 1.9 sixty on my very first pass on worn Pzero's using this technique. You really need some better tires to consistently do much better. Good luck, practice will make you better!

Try this set LC at 4000rpms then set mode to track and deactivate advance traction control holding the traction control button for more then 5sec then just release the clutch pedal.
You are launching the car at a very low rpm range.

It doesn't seem to be spinning or hopping, but what is your rear tire pressure at?
