The last two videos are mine... I love the MF competition. I heard a few in person and I'm positive I made the right choice. Then again, that choice is mine, you have to make yours.

You're in CA... Try to find someone in the local section and see if you can listen in person.

They are both nice options. We have some great deals going on Magnaflow currently! Be sure to call to get the best price! 443-730-9428

It's always hard to tell from You Tube videos, but I'm leaning more towards liking the MBRP better.

3:50 for the sound

Fairly close to my Mini Cooper S JCW.

I think CJPony's youtube channel commented saying Magnaflow Comp. was deeper/better sounding than MBRP. Take that for what its worth it's all subjective and I think both are great sets. Solo Performance sounds deep as well.

For how awesome they both sound, I went ahead and bought the black coated mbrp catback from beefcake for $570 rather than spending double that for a little bit better sound.

I don't like how the MBRP has the 2.5 inch neck down built in. it will be a limiting factor if you go to a 3 inch downpipe. Since I already had the MAP catless dp and wanted to get rid of the 2.5 neck down I went for the MAP resonated Catback. It sounds nice and deep too. Now I think I might have gone non resonated to make it a bit more aggressive, but I have 0 drone which was a requirement for me, I do alot of highway.

OP checking in. I've decided to wait it out till next year's black friday(yes I'm patient lol) to make my decision. The MBRP Race was running pretty cheap though and I was really close to picking it up but if there's something with better sound with a similar price point that comes out I will be very interested.

PS I've been listening to a lot of subies and they sound pretty great. I think it's cause of the boxer engine but unsure. If those subie exhaust manufacturers go into the EB, I see some real potential but for now, nothing really sounds THAT good honestly. Feel free to chime in why subies sound so god damn good.

The EBM won't sound like a WRX or STI... Different engine all together & unequal length headers. I do agree with you, they sound great. That said, they made some changes for '15. My friends WRX no longer has that classic Subaru rumble. Still sounds pretty damn good. He also loves the way my exhaust sounds. (MF Competition).

Here's a vid of the last time we went out. I will take some more vid tomorrow, now that I have a downpipe.

The new 2015 WRXs no longer have unequal length headers since they're running the new 2.0. That's why they sound different. very cool video explains it.

The 2015 sti still runs the 2.5 with unequal headers. Idk if this is the last year for that or not

In addition to the polished stainless Competition axle-back and cat-back, we do make a cat-back exhaust with black powder coating on the tips, mufflers, and the piping ahead of the mufflers, too. We think it looks pretty sharp.

I think I'm leaning toward the black. Tryna get my car murdered! Is there anyway the tips can be cut off and have quad tips welded on without damaging the exhaust?
