Did you ever get this issue solved? I have been having a different issue, but tracking my temperatures, drive time, and mode for most drives for a week now.

Regarding the temps? No, it stays extremely cool all the time. On a hot 100 degree day I might be able to get it up to 170 while driving aggressively.

As far as the horrific downshifts, those have been improved 1. they changed a few parts in my valve body - that helped a little. 2. I got the Ford Performance tune and that helped out the behavior of the transmission A LOT. It is now an acceptable transmission. I really hated it before the tune.

Interesting. I’m planning on a time next spring/summer, but my issue is basically the opposite of yours. Gets hotter than it should sometimes. Thanks for the thread, always good to see what potential issues lie out there!
