I'm looking for a good deal one of those myself.Consider a base GT with 301A, PP1 and A10. Good price, and will hit all the things you need, but be lighter and cheaper.
Really? The PP is an expensive option for sure but the additional cooling etc has no value, even if I were to put a blower on the car?Nothing on a PP car will benefit you vs. a base 3.55 geared car for drag racing.
Money saved on the PP option can be used to really put together a real "drag pack" type a car.
Mine hooks out of hole real good. With just the 93P tune now it spins on the 1-2 in 95 degree heat. May rear it’s ugly head once temps drop and e85 added to the mix. The rpm bump on firm shift is main culprit.I don't know for sure but it appears that the rear suspension upgrades on the PP cars helps reduce or eliminate wheelhop. I have a non PP model with the 3.55 and it hops badly on the 1-2 shift when using drag mode. I don't hear the guys with PP having as much of an issue with that.
Honestly the 7-8 grand I saved off retail made the 4k option much cheaper. PP1 corn tuned 10r80 cars with Mich 275 ps4’s should be easy 11.7-8 (1500 feet) cars on factory tires with decent track prep and DA. All else stock. I like that option myself.Nothing on a PP car will benefit you vs. a base 3.55 geared car for drag racing.

Again you have to factor in the discounts you can buy these today. It is not costing 3995. Price out all those parts (comparable) installed and it is easily more than what people are paying.PP used to be a steal at $2,495, then it went up to $2,995 in 2017.
And now at $3,995 its not a steal but still a decent value for what you get. To upgrade cheaper OEM parts would cost more. Now for Ford the difference between the non-PP upgrade to PP parts doesn't cost them $4k like they're charge, but they need to make money somewhere I guess. And its generally in the options. I guess part of that extra $1k now is for the big spoiler. Too bad you can't get a discount if you select Spoiler Delete.
Its a decent value:
• 19-inch x 9-inch (F)/19-inch X 9.5-inch (R) Ebony Black-painted Aluminum Wheels
• 255/40 R19 (F) 275/40R19 (R) Summer Only Tires
• Brembo™ Six-Piston Front Brake Calipers with Larger Rotors
• "Engine Spun" Aluminum Instrument Panel
• Gauge Pack (Oil Pressure and Vacuum)
• Heavy-duty Front Springs
• K-Brace
• Larger Radiator
• Performance Rear Wing
• Silver Painted Strut-Tower Brace
• TORSEN® Differential with 3.73 Axle Ratio (Manual) or 3.55 Axle Ratio (Automatic)
• Unique Chassis Tuning
• Unique Stability Control, EPAS and ABS Tuning
• Upsized Rear Sway Bar

I would think the options would have some value but maybe I'm thinking wrong?
Is that nifty digital dash standard in the Premium or is it part of the GT Performance Pack?Oh, just to add one more thing in case you didn't know, the base GT Premium 400A A10, and the base GT 301A A10, are the exact same cars. The only difference is the leather interior (heated/cooled seats), so if leather isn't a big deal to you, save yourself the extra 2K and get a 301A A10 packaged car with the 3.55 rear.
