Well I was hoping to maybe pick a set of these up, not that skinny though.
The are also a 320 rating - not very sticky.

They're definitely not a drag style compound. They are marketed for summer performance without being an extreme summer tire.

Looks like these will be widely available when I need some 275/40's in the spring. :)

Ive done a few setups on the original NT555 members have loved them these G2 are going to be so amazing. sent a email this morning waiting on a response back.
Hey Paul, any word on the pricing/wider options in the future? Curious how these are going to stack up against other summer tires like the PSS/DWs and the like.

On their website it seems like they advertise the Invo as "Luxury tire" compare to these NT555G2 as "performance tire"

Yeah I don't really understand that because I am pretty sure the Invo is still an ultra high performance tire.

I'm guessing the Invo's might give up a little in sidewall stiffness in favor of more comfort. But I know Invo's are used by a lot of high HP cars like Z06's and Vipers, so they are definitely still a performance tire.

I have Invo's on my car and I really like them. Good grip both in a straight line and the corners and and are pretty smooth and comfortable.

The Invos are quieter and a better performance tire than the 555's. They'll also be bald in about half the time. ;)

Keep in mind the 320 is a treadwear rating that is set by the tire manufacturer and no outside body regulate or enforces it. They may do that so you don't have high expectations and they know most who buy them beat on their car. AA is the highest traction rating, again set by the tire manufacturer.

I ran some pretty good laps on these Pirellis, can't wait to see what better tires do for less money.

With a 30000 mile tire warranty I'll take it lol. That is assuming you're not tracking it or doing burnouts.

My p-zero fronts (started w/about 40-50% tread) were cupping after my first event. My PSS (that I got used from Budwise) barely showed wear after my second event when I had more seat time and had the balls to push the car harder. ;)
