I'm aware that I like Ford's 2018 infotainment software version better than their 2020 version and will be downgrading.
So you will do a hard reset ? You will have to in order to expunge the latest upgrade.

Admittedly, I have some homework to do for determining if a downgrade is possible. I'll probably just learn to live with it, but having to stop the car to change albums/artists is stupid. Worst case I can always switch to Bluetooth-piped music sourced from my Plex server.

If you are really serious about this, the only way to do it is to have the dealer reset the APIM and download the version and build of your choice.

If you have audio problems, get a GT350R. You will never need any audio upgrades or changing of tracks, as you can't listen anything anyway unless sitting still; engine and exhaust note drown the music anyway.
Problem solved. :)

Why? When all we would hear is the GT500 in front of us.

The 500 is pretty badass too. The two compared, the 500 and the 350 both are very desirable in their own distinxtive ways.

Yeah.. as long as arthritis lets me change my own gears with my left foot, sorry... it's manual for me. I hate Ford for doing GT500 in auto only. I owned the previous GT500, and it was a great car... just not as composed as the GT350.
This might just be the last Ford I own, if they give up on manual gearboxes.... If I lived in the country and had plenty of space, I'd keep her forever and just add to the stable... problem for me is space.

Hold on, I just realized I am posting on a GT500 board; just ignore my comments. I started this for the Sync update :)
