The problem now is, I think Ford were a decade too late releasing the V8 Mustang as a global car and in rhd. Chevrolet are even further behind, with everyone having already got their muscle car fix and the limitations on emissions in Europe I don't see these selling as well as they would have 10 years ago. I met someone a few weeks ago who just bought a 2020 lhd Corvette in the UK and she had to have it registered as a 2019 due to it failing the 2020 emissions regs.

That same reviewer tested the mustang and recomended you buy the camaro.
I own a 2019 GT.
I don't give a tinker's cuss what you or chubby think about the S550.

But don't let that stop you posting here, to rubbish a car you didn't like & now do not own.
Because eventually, you will win the internet & by so doing, shame all S550 owners into torching their cars, just to please you.

To be fair Jayemm said a lot of positive things about the Mustang and he does some very good reviews. Still a bit surprised about his comments on the car ride with the Magneride as I find it very comfortable.

As regards the troll you replied to .........

M2C/M2 are good looking cars
Personal choice, but not to me.

2 series be like a Bavarian Kia Sorento...

Very, very capable but a small family car, lacking in style or personality. Yes big engine, yes big wheels and yes big body kit, but it’s still a small family car.

Cue Mustang, even Orangemans Camaro, give me a purpose designed coupe any day

All i will finish this off with is
TEST DRIVE THE CAMARO.. you will be blown away at how bad your mustang is and how brilliant the camaro is..190mph car and rock solid aswell at those speeds. the camaro has a proper 6.2l pushrod motor how all yank cars should have.
i will put the s550 mustang in the top 5 of the worst cars i have ever owned..and all of those have been fords.
1997 escort being the worst..complete and utter pos car to drive. mustang is not that bad but not far behind it.
my s550 was brand new btw.
where is Dr grabster then. i remember him being so excited to get his mustang lol. another one that saw the light quickly and jumped ship.

wow look how damn beautiful the gen6 camaro is

i get folk asking me daily what car it is and how beautiful it is..
Wow - now we are up to 190mph, where did you manage that in the UK ?

Your S550 was broken if it wore out it's rear tyre in 3000 miles.

I don't want a LHD car in the UK

Glad your trolling is about to come to an end !

GO TEST DRIVE THE CAMARO . you will be amazed 100 percent
I have driven plenty of cars much better than the Camaro (once again LHD which is a pain in the UK)

You love your Camaro - great. Go tell everybody on a Camaro forum.

lol to you too !

I love the look of the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, Corvette and Charger, I would have considered all of these, I'm by no means a Ford fanatic, I just love cars. Unfortunately Ford have a stronger global presence and are able to ship the numbers to make rhd models where we only see the likes of the Dodge Caliber and the Chevrolet Matiz, so they really don't have a good image here.

I remember driving my mates Lacetti to Cornwall once, it's the only car I've ever driven where my foot was to the floor and the speedo was going backwards, the engine blew up after that trip :cwl:

I'm going to add my two-penneth to this thread.

I own a 2016 GT that I have had since march 2016 and this has 20,000 miles on it.

In my household I have always had a big family car whilst my wife had a smaller second type of car. When I ordered the Mustang I had recently sent back a Honda CRV Lease Car and was driving around in a Fiesta Zetec Red edition (Which was bought as a stop-gap but also to give to my soon to be 17 year old son). I like most had ordered the car without seeing one in the flesh or driving one. I was finally able to have a test drive in a Auto (Mines Manual) in the december a few months before mine came. If I was buying the car based on the test drive then I would have not ordered one. My reasoning behind a Manual was I had read loads of reviews saying dont buy an Auto, plus my wife does not like Autos too much.

When I picked up the car it was 6pm on a thursday evening, I drove away from the dealers and there is a roundabout approx 30 foot drop the dealers, and I booted the car around and lost the back end and totally shat myself and thought what have I done !! (It was slightly damp as well).

After getting the car home and driving it in all kinds of weathers I have learnt to respect it - Sure there are times when I drive it like a hooligan but always with the utmost of respect. Mine had the P-zeros on and the rears lasted 8000 miles before I changed to some Kumho and these were 100% better - I did not go for the MPSS as I was wanting some new wheels. I have since purchased new wheels and fitted the MPS4S and these are the Nuts !!!

In my 4 years of ownership I have loved this car and its not something that I envisage selling Ever.

Over the years I have had Mercedes, Honda's, Volvo's, VW's, Fords, Vauxhall's - Loads of different brands of cars and whilst I agree the Mustang does lack some of the finer materials compared with other cars, I still love it and even though its not a daily when I dont get to use it I really miss it. Now the daily appears to be my Wifes Merc GLE and whilst this is Auto and a 3000 V6 and has some grunt to it, I still look forward to driving the Mustang.

I think its very difficult to compare the Mustang to other cars and I think you either love it or you dont. Theres so many people on here that love the car to pieces and quite a few that have had the car and then for one reason or another have sold and moved on.

If your comparing it to a performance type BMW then I think its always going to be a 50/50 as to whether you like it or not.

I love mine and every time I think should I sell it, I have a drive and give it a clean and fall totally back in love with it, its now a keeper and I dont think I could actually sell it.

People need to remember this was a £36k V8, so it's going to have its faults, if I'd spent £50k then I'd expect more.

i get folk asking me daily what car it is and how beautiful it is..
in the top 3 of the best cars i have ever owned..only slight fault is limited vision and parking with the long bonnet.
the road holding is sensational. no twitching and bouncing about in the seat lol..no driveline clunk. no bonnet flutter. no wandering on the motorway..nothing. and no raspy weak shite sounding motor..the 6.2l lt1 barks when when on song.
i doubt i will ever sell it
why did you use a stock picture from the internet instead of your own car? Also, if all yank cars should have a pushrod motor then they should all have shit suspension to complete the image. Mustang suspension aint bad, nothing a 400kg weight loss and a few inches off all round wouldn't resolve. Each to their own :like:
