Some info is proprietary and I value my job. I've been at the same Ford dealership for 16 years and I've been on a variety of Mustang websites during that time and seen some of my peers at other dealers or Ford vendors fired and/or reprimanded for leaking info ahead of time.

There are often exciting future Ford things that I know that I'd love to share with my fellow Mustang enthusiasts, but I have to bite my tongue and wait for Ford to officially announce first. Folks like Topnotch are in the same boat. I know he wanted to announce something big last Friday, but was probably worried about the repercussions of doing so.

Ok, I wasn't sure if it was a Ford mandate or what. Just weird Ford would have the info there for any dealer to see and think it wouldn't leak out with that many people looking at it. Can you comment in generality what its concerning? Production start, price, power, etc?

So, today in the 2015 Shelby order banks I see SYNC 3 as part of the Tech Package, so I stand corrected.

Ford had sent a memo out the other day saying that SYNC 3 would first arrive in the 2016 Fiesta, Escape, and Lincoln MKC. The Shelby will be the only 2015 model to get SYNC 3 from what I can see, meaning that they will likely be built just before the 2016's go into production.

I saw the same in the leaked sheets and hoped. TY.

The guys in the know are pretty good with getting us up-dates.
Somethings they likely do get the odd bit of heat from.

We understand. Myself and a few others have "friends" like you who tell us stuff but we cannot mention because of said reasons. None of us want to see guys like you to lose your job. Just try to share what you can.......:ford:
