OEM is pretty good unless you want to shed some weight (go 2 piece rotor) or want to cut down on dust. Use case will matter a bit too

What's wrong with the rotors?
Have you measured pad thickness?
How many miles on the car?
My '18 DD has 116k miles and is on the original rotors and its second set of pads.

Tough crowd. :giggle:

As others have mentioned, answering previous and the following questions will get you the best response:

1. What brake calipers, pads and rotors are on the car now? Your car is listed as a GT. Does it have the Performance Package? Standard GT can with four-pot calipers. PP1 and PP2 cars can with six-pot Brembos.

2. How is this car being used (street, track or a mix of the two)?

3. Are the existing brakes otherwise working OK? Nearing the end of their service life? Are you happy with this setup or looking to upgrade?

4. Is the car stock? If not, list any mods.

5. How many miles on the car? A nice, flat rotor is a good sign. If the rotors have seen some miles and other owners, it would be best to measure them, to be on the safe side.

Answer as best possible. If the original owner, you can probably speak off the top of your head. If a second or later owner, you might not know. If you don't know, say that and give the best answer you can.

--------------------------------------

The word "Roter" can be used in so many ways. Who knew?!

German: Means "red" (e.g., der roter Wein - the red wine). It is also part of Roter Veltliner, an ancient Austrian white grape variety.

French (roter): A verb meaning to belch, burp, or give out air noisily from the stomach.

Middle English (roter): An obsolete term for a robber, plunderer, or a scoundrel, dating from the 17th to early 19th centuries.

Industry & Technology: Roter Italy/Romania is a manufacturer of undercarriage components for earthmoving machinery, such as rollers and idlers. Roter is also a company specializing in geospatial intelligence.

People: Debra Roter (or Diane Roter) is an American actress known for her appearances in The Virginian.

Medicine: The Roter Interaction Analysis System (RIAS) is a method used to analyze communication between doctors and patients.

Music: Roter is the name of a music artist.

--------------------------------------

I like simple. I'm sticking with the word "rotor":

1 a: a part that revolves in a stationary part. a brake rotor

b: the rotating member of an electrical machine

2: an assembly of rotating blades that supplies lift or stability for a rotorcraft

Rotors should be of the highest nickel content possible ( rust) and you can't go wrong with the Powerstop Z26 brake pads, low dust good stopping power for the street.

if it's not a daily driver, chance is pads (especially rear ones) are nowhere near replacement thickness, rotors are 100% fine. Verify first you actually need to do it unless you want to get them replaced, then OEM is just fine.

Sorry...rotor
Don't let the spelling and grammar police bother you too much. It's mostly in good fun.
If you really want help with the brakes though then do answer the questions we have asked.
