I'll look at mine tomorrow, but I can say it isn't right. Take it back and tell them to fix it. Oh, and you want a realignment.

You had to look.........I am surprised LOL

Remove and discard the 2 front stabilizer bar link nuts and remove the front stabilizer bar link.
Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)

Thanks Snoopy. I have the shop manual and used it for reference.

The dummy put the end link on the wrong side of the brake line when he reinstalled the strut. The 2 open oval holes on the bracket are where the magnaride wires go held in by christmas trees. He probably broke them when pulling it apart.
The
Magnaride cables are on the other side.

Problem has been fixed. Removed the upper nut on the vertical link and disconnected the fender brake line bracket. There was just enough room to tuck the link under the brake line and back into proper position.

Well, I still need an alignment from the spring swap. I also want to reduce the toe to zero as my car is a daily and I don’t need the extra tire wear lol

Wow good you checked and better that you fixed it. I am not even sure how someone thought that was even correct ! Anytime a hose has to "wrap around" something is a clear and present warning that its not correct.

Yes, if it has not been done from the spring swap you will need one. I assumed that was done prior to you picking the car up, sorry.

Actually I spent the day underneath my 97 cobra changing the oil, trans, and diff fluids. I didn't have time to look at anything else. As I indicated it wasn't right. I would have simply photo documented how it was supposed to look.

I reiterate that if you are unbolting any suspension components, you really need to at least verify that your alignment hasn't changed. I've learned by doing my own alignments how sensitive it is to small changes.

I was just kidding around, not a serious comment.

I know, and I deflected with a serious one. The bitch of an old car is that even the dealers don't have any tech data on it. I had to research my own fluids and capacities. I was surprised at that.
