Something is wrong with your headlights... Either a bad balast or most likely not properly aimed cause these cars stock lamps create a FLOOD of light.
I agree with this. Of course a taller vehicle with the lights in a higher position will light the road better, but IMO Mustang HIDs are really good. I have a really dark road as part of my daily and I loved the 2015+ lights.

Other than aiming the headlights, some other inexpensive options:
Make sure your interior lights are turned down. If you have the dash really bright it will make it much more difficult to see a dark road.

Eat more carrots.

I have a US 2016 ecoboost with the HID head lights. The headlight are just OK but the high beams are terrible. I live on some dark country roads and always looking out for deer and such. My toyota brights are incredible...these are so lame i have to double check that i have my brights on all the time. I see alot of posts about changing color (5000k etc...) but what about actually brighter lights. Any help would be appreciated.
By any chance did you ever lower your car? If you did just try to adjust them

I’ve installed them and they are a great bulb. In fact one of the best selling premium and close to the more pure white. They are a big step up from OEM. If you are looking for a more bright white you would be happy with those.
If the Philips are listed as 4800k, what range are the stock HID headlights? How about the stock LED fog lights, they have to be above 6000k, right?

the OEM Osram 66340HBI is 4300k. Almost all OEM bulbs are 4300k give or take. If you are talking about the H11 bulb in the fog lights that’s towards the 4000-4300k range but halogens don’t really come out the same as HID or even LED.

Most OEM LED are 5000k-5300k with some like Toyota that push closer to the 5500k

now why I don’t run them myself. Humans can’t see depth as well the higher towards the ultra violet spectrum, some like me are a little more sensitive. In HID applications I lose a lot of depth the closer to 6k I get. With LED it’s not as noticeable to me. But for what ever HID it is. A 5500 for me really drops off. So the 4200-4300k that the night breakers give out give me a little more punch. And a touch brighter. Most people it doesn’t effect though. If you are looking for the brightest bulb you can get and the best you can see with the NB’s are about it. But the XTV are extremely close and usually more popular due to the price point. I also swing on the Osram sack as their customer service has been great for me.
First I had no idea the 18+ had true LED headlights. Second is that the exact part # for the Osram you mentioned for our cars?

Osram DS3 66340HBI is the bulb number, Fords part number I believe is 7L7Z-13N021-A but it could’ve been superseded since I’ve had these charts in 2015.

my highs were aimed too low and i was annoyed until i adjusted them there is a hole i think behind the light that will fit a screwdriver to adjust the levels. once readjusted i have no complaints.

Never had a problem with my headlights,
I do have a problem with out of adjustment headlights from other cars
I do have a problem with off road headlights from jacked up trucks
I do have a problem with bright lights from cars that stay on continually

I find the LED headlights, both low and high beams to be more than adequate on my 19’ GT. I’ve owned cars with HID’s before and these blow them away. Never had an issue with having to adjust them either.

Almost all people who can't see the road, have their headlights too high. Also, driver side headlight is always aimed lower...

Driving home last night the headlights on my '19 were fantastic. The brights were adjusted a bit high in my opinion.

Like the others said, adjust them then see,
