NA 3.15 gear guys inside please

2016 -GT- Auto with 3:15's also here
In regular "D" drive mode the car is a piece of shit embarrassment.
Whoever says its acceptable has no F*#^ clue how this car should perform.
But put it in Sport + or Track. Car performs amazingly.

Needless to say I'm always in Track mode and daily drive it.
Screw the gas consumption.
Buy a Corolla if thats the case.

I guess the guys with the base GT autos are screwed then as they dont have the Sport + or Track modes...
Pedalmax should help the base gt's in the throttle response dept. and feel similar to the premium sport/track modes.

WOT between the base gt and premium GT's in sport+/track mode should achieve the same 1/4 mile times, whether in D or S.

I'm not screwed at all. I just keep the car in sport mode. After tuning this thing it did make "D" more bearable.

Don't even get me started on what I think of the lazy, sluggish feeling, 3.15 gears with the 6R80.

lazy and sluggish? Lol you guys are clueless...I cut a 1.76 60' on the stock converter with a 28" drag radial and ran 11.8...

I then cut a 1.64 60' on the stock converter with a centri with a shorter tire...you just need to learn how to work the stock converter.

Yep, my 3800 lb car under performs. It's the quickest NA 5.0L 6R80 at both of our local tracks, but it under performs.

If you ever come to the Seattle area, bring your new Scat Pack and let's line up at the track. Curious to see how your new toy runs.

I, too, have run 117-118 (fastest trap speed was 118.9). But, I've posted several runs in the 11.5's (and dozens of runs in the 11.6's), so why am I quicker than your car was NA, despite the same trap speed as you?

Your car should be way faster than me. 11.5 is only .3 faster with a lighter car with a stronger gear and a 5k stall with more mods....

My car runs strong and runs as quick as it should for my mods. Your car was running quicker than I would have expected when NA based on the mods you listed. Not sure what kind of DA you enjoy at your local track(s), though.

I drive in sport mode all the time except for rare occasions when in heavy traffic. I will spin the tires if I go WOT. Definitely not gutless IMO. In Drive mode I could see how it seems sluggish but I rarely use it b/c I want to know what gear am I in and choose it myself.

I agree. Sport+ and my 3:15's do fine. Love to see what 4:10's would do.
