NA 3.15 gear guys inside please

Do anyone's car also feel like a turd when launching with these gears. It's utterly gutless for the first 10..20ft. I'm FF tune and intake only on a 16 premium. My drag radials seem nearly pointless.

I really didn't think they would feel so bad from a stop..... but coming from a PP car its horrific lol. Good for boost...... gives me an excuse to save.

Depends on what you bought the car to do. I use as my daily driver and am very happy with the 3:15, if I wanted performance from stop lights, I would have gone in a different direction.

I spin the tires anytime I go WOT from a stop, so I don't particularly understand where the gutless argument comes from.

My car would spin the tires as well with the 3.15's when it was bone stock. With a 4.17 1st gear in the transmission it's not difficult.

But in essence what you're feeling is the gutless converter, not the gearing.

Ford calibrated the throttle response in D mode to ramp up gradually. You can tell if you go full throttle, the car will pull harder about 1 second after.
If you use S mode, it will pull hard instantly.

I use mine as DD and love the 3.15's. I originally had a 2015 EB mustang that was getting 24MPG and my GT with 3.15's gets 21MPG. I think that is insane for a 435HP V8 on my commute of mixed driving.

I have no issues with my gears. No problems at all spinning my tires in sport mode.

My auto gt with 3.55's does not feel sluggish at all from a stop, with no problem blowing the tires away on the stock tune. Pulls way harder (sotp)than the 6m with 3.31 Ive driven, dig and roll (especially in first gear).:shrug:
6r80 has similar gearing in 2nd and 3rd gears as the mt82 with a much steeper 1st gear.

In regular "D" drive mode the car is a piece of shit embarrassment.
Whoever says its acceptable has no F*#^ clue how this car should perform.
But put it in Sport + or Track. Car performs amazingly.

Needless to say I'm always in Track mode and daily drive it.
Screw the gas consumption.
Buy a Corolla if thats the case.
