My local dealer told me certain models that were sold as fleet vehicles included a box in the footwell that piggybacks off the ECU. Its sole purpose is to limit the HP of the car to keep people from hurting themselves. It's possible your car is not reaching full potential...

I bought my car from fleet sales.
People here tell me it’s the same car from the same line. I say BS, as the quality, fit and finish, and absolute reliability are at odds with other Mustang owners and it would not surprise me in the least that performance limits were an option for the fleet sales customer (even if you posted that as a joke).
