Driver side floor bump

Anyone else feel a approx. 6 inch long bump ? It's the right side close to the seat

I'm going to sip on my latte while I contemplate if this is a manufacturing defect or First World Problems.

I'm way too stressed to give you a decision right now... not sure if I'll ever get back in that car.

6" long, hmm, maybe it's your girlfriend's ...oh never mind.

Looks like it's right above where the transmission crossmember bolts up, probably to give local stiffness & strength.

That's nothing. My RX-8 had a huge bulge in the passenger side foot well to clear the transmission.
