Has anyone experienced an issue with the switch only allowing "down", but not "up"? I took the assembly out, cleaned the pin contacts and it worked great for a week or so. Pretty sure it's not the motor, since I heard no complaining. I'm thinking of just getting a new switch to begin the "shotgun" method of repair.

I've just recently run into an issue where , on the driver door switch. I can put down the passenger window and put it up with no issue. HOWEVER, when trying to operate the driver window, it does nothing. It does go down the 1/4" or so to clear the door "drip gaurd" and goes back up when i close the door. But the door switch does not work.
Im afraid to attempt to see if the auto down from the key fob works because I dont have my garage access at this time.

Did you ever figure out if yours is the switch and did you replace your switch?

I know our issues are bit unrelated, just curious what your solution was.

Regards
Steve

I've not changed out the switch yet. I did pull it out and clean it again - no help. I suspect my problem is the window is getting caught on something inside the door.
