I recently found a button in my GT. It seems like its part of the dash. I tried to do some research but wasn't able to find anything.. leading me the believe its not oem. The button doesn't seem to do anything but just click in and out. Any idea what it could be?

If I hear a "ejecto seato cuz" joke I will explode.

Not oem. Time to get upside down underneath the dash and trace the wires out to see where it connects to. It could simply be an alarm system, nitrous oxide or anything else. Good luck...

Is there an aftermarket subwoofer installed? A buddy of mine installed some aftermarket stereo stuff and included a similar button to turn his sub on and off depending on his mood.

That's where I installed my sub gain knob on mine. It's a good possibility

That panel pull right off too. Pull straight to the driver:

1. Detach the ambient air temp grille panel.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Detach the tether and remove the ambient air temp grille panel.

Unfortunately no subwoofer. Im going to get in the guts to see where the lines lead to.

So I opened the panel..

It's the blue connecter with the RGBY lines that leads to this mess.. a bunch of electrical taped wires that seem to lead to the bumper. If I'm being honest, I have no idea what I'm looking at and I dont know if im curious enough to go in deeper in the guts. I broke my back trying to get under the dash.

Looks like someone could have installed a front camera and that button would link to the screen for the image. Or aftermarket alarm?
