Third mod: RokBlokz mud guards.
They're superb. Great quality, really sturdy, and so discreet and perfectly integrated that you can't even tell they're aftermarket.

Yeah I did wonder, but it suits me as I have plate MU55 SOL ... lol

Have you thought of the red side markers ?

I think they would really suit your colour (way better than the orange that we get). If you donā€™t want to mess around with LEDā€™s I sourced some US takeoffs and just plugged the bulb hole in the back (there was no way I was having orange on lime) :

Compared to most of the LED versions they retain the reflector that the orange gives us (only that small rectangle area is unreflective) and they have the ford logo and markings on the outer lens - on the off chance they might help you with the police or legal inspections etc ā€˜it came from ford like that officerā€™ ... lol

They also tie in nicely with the red reflectors over the exhaust tips.

Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. I don't like the orange markers, but I didn't know red ones were available. I don't want LEDs, just red reflectors instead of the orange ones would be perfect. Where did you get those from? Were they difficult to install?

Yes, all year round. The Mondeo is up for sale. I'll have to start looking for winter tyres soon.

Very easy swap - two mins per side (maximum) no tools required. Get on your back with your hand behind the bumper, push the clip and slide it out.

Source the replacements and then have a look at the clip design so you know what your feeling for behind the bumper.

Mine were take offs from the states from someone who had swapped to LED's - there will be loads out there, it's just a matter of finding someone who's happy to ship them out of the states for you. Its still a cheap mod even with the shipping :like:

I plugged the hole on the back of them with half a grommet and some silicon just to keep the dampness out and still give me the option of illuminating them in future if I want to :

Fourth mod:
You know the reflection you get on the instrument panel from the surrounding plastic trim? I solved that with a few pieces of self-adhesive felt.

After:

My phone's camera is much, much more sensitive than the eye. To the naked eye the separation line between the pieces is invisible unless you look really, really hard and use a flashlight. It also appears almost black to the naked eye, not the medium grey you see here.

And while I was at it, I thought I'd use the same material to line the bottom of the door pockets as well:

I'm very happy with the results.
