Yesterday, we found a speak easy. It is a diner and if you "ask to see the mayor", they escort you to a secret door (a refrigerator). You enter and follow the stairs down to a bar with great beers on tap and good music.

Pretty cool.

I've got more for you tomorrow

Just passing the time until Ford comes to their senses and get me a VIN and build date.....

Well, this weekend, we had a killer Saturday night movie night, pounded pounds of cheese, olives, wine, beer*, hit the beach with some SUPs, cleared out the extra house (close to getting listed), had a crazy HIIT workout, took the telescope out with the little G, the wife got some ++crazy++ leather chaps (I'll let you sort that out in your head ...) and I knocked out a ton of work/code that will be some tasty billing to close the month, scored some perfect seats for an upcoming concert, I installed my front mud flaps, finally tracked down a motor/solution for our 2019 Halloween (flying specter!), etc, etc. :)

i.e., I've got very little time to pass :D But looking forward to your updates

Today started with a nice Sunday roast. (Unlike the one Ford is going to get if they don't get me a VIN and a build date).

We went to one of my favorite Sunday London pub experiences at a place called cask pub and kitchen. At around 4:30 or so, a bluegrass band (yes bluegrass in London) comes to play for about 3 hours. 2 guitars, 1 banjo, 1 mandalyn, and 2 steel guitars. It's incredible.

Just killing time waiting for my VIN.

Where in London is the speak easy? Also, if you don't already have it, you may like the app spottedbylocals. They also have a website, but the app is much better.

Like I said, London is a place I have been coming to for a very long time. I know the ins and outs

Samuel Johnson once said "when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life". Every time I come back, I find more and more to do.

Anyway, the speak easy is here.

Perfect, thanks for the info. Regarding the app, I've lived throughout Europe for a very long time and still find it useful--even for the place I currently live. Highly recommend it. Worth a peek. Cheers.

I worked in England for awhile. I really love London and the time I was there.

I would have gone for grabber lime had it been as it was introduced (remember the metallic lime green over the shamrock)?

The next color that grabbed my eye was twister orange. Wow!

However, I struggled between rapid red and race red. Quite honestly, it was a difficult decision to make. It was a thought that occupied my mind day in and day out. And there it was...... a smoking hot chick in a bikini on the beach that wore a swimsuit that had a very similar color to rapid red. She was beautiful, and so was rapid red on her. So there it was, one of the more difficult decisions dumbed down to pure aesthetics.

What really matters is what Ford Performance has done from a performance perspective. Color is color, but it really comes down to performance.
Great color choice. I am more a grey/black/silver kind of guy, but in every shot I have seen of this car, it looks consistently best in rapid red - and I don't even like the color red on a car. But I'd get it on a GT500 in a heartbeat. It's like the car was designed to be that color.

Today was a bank holiday and the oldest and best pubs were closed (ye ol Cheshire cheese, ye ol miter, etc). So we walked about and stopped at a few common pubs and enjoyed the day. We finished at probably one of the most famous rock and roll landmarks, The Hard Rock Cafe (the original) in Mayfair. I could go on, but, it speaks for itself.

I'm going to take a break from here for a while. Maybe down the road, I'll stop back in. I like hanging around here, but...well... I don't understand the leadership allowing some of the trolling to go on. It just reaches a point you know. Anyway...

I know what you mean. I started ignoring just the most obvious trolls and while it's better for my blood pressure, I feel like I'm not seeing half the posts on this board.
