My car weight

My base 17 GT is now around the high 3400 lb mark. Didn't sacrifice anything other than the back seat. Most was exhaust / wheels - tires, and other tidbits that didn't affect safety. Haven't even touched the battery yet or lighter weight rotors.

No passenger seat and roughly 6 gallons of gas.

I'll repeat - I have my car weighed multiple times this year. Rear seat gone, battery that weighs 8lb, lightweight wheels, about 3-4 gallons of gas and car completely clean from anything loose in the interior or trunk. It weighed ~3720 lb last time about two weeks ago.

There is absolutely no way that stock GT weighs anywhere near 3300 lb, it makes those scales even more questionable at this point.

Yeah - that's not a "no rear seat" car. Which was exactly my point - a car with just no rear seat and low on gas would nowhere remotely close to this weight.

No, that's bone stock. I got a thread somewhere here of what I removed/replaced along with the weights. Exhaust & wheels were the game changers. Rear seat assembly was like 40 lbs. Seat delete kit added like 4 lbs back.

Tonight i went to the Track and Best time i got was 11.819. on my 3rd attempt. My 60 foot best was 1.86. i need weight off bigtime.

Just weighed my new 2020 GT 10spd. 2/3 tank of gas, 3700lbs on the nose.
I pulled the engine cover & put on a catch can. No-option car except the automatic.

My base Ecoboost weighed in at 3580 lbs... Only item I removed is the "smart grill" or air dampers behind the stock grill!? Would like to delete the rear seat and upgrade the seat belts, not sure if that will add or remove weight??
Me... losing (10-15) pounds would help??!

We put the car on more of a diet Sunday. Got roughly 60lbs outta her and we got a few small things to delete later today as well.
Car is 2019 GT E85 tune from Lund. Stock airbox, stock headers, stock manifold, lots of weight reduction, and a converter. Runs 7.05 and 99.92 with a 1.54 60”

ATX20HD weighs 5 lbs. Stock battery is 30+ lbs. At least a 25 lb weight savings and costs $399 or less.
