My 2020 GT500 video!

Hey all, Goose17 here. First post here... long time Mustang enthusiast and absolutely loving my 2020!

After 3 days of detailing and polishing/paint correcting, I finally put together a video... make sure your volume is UP!
The car had quite a bit of scratches/blemishes from the assembly line, mostly around the stripes with the worst of it on the hood. It took many, many hours of polishing to fix it, but they have all been erased. The car is now ready for clear bra and ceramic.

Most likely your paint got jacked up by the dealership prepping it. It is always best to instruct them not to to wash the car ever. This includes delivery and when the car is being serviced when a courtesy wash is offered.

So true, Neal because the prep guys will use the same filthy mitts they used on the 2010 Super Duty they just took on trade.

The car had zero prep prior to me getting it. It was dirty and the loose items were not installed per my instructions. These were loving marks from the assembly process. Look at yours closely when you get it under bright lights. You’ll see what I mean.

Griots 6” and 3” DA polishers. Meguiars correction compounds:

Pro Speed Compound for the deeper scratches (select areas) orange pad
Fine Cut (whole car) orange pad
Swirl Remover (whole car) orange pad
Show Car Glaze (whole car) red pad

Well done on the correction. All fords products come looking like shit from factory. But good thing is, if you spend time they come out looking good.
