They're a bit small but with the spotters they work fine. The ones on the Vette are tiny and don't have them so the Mustang mirrors feel like towing mirrors in comparison.

"Look somebody wants to buy a Mustang, but is hesitant about the side mirrors and blind spots, quick let's ridicule him so he won't buy one."

Little sh*tty things like visibility and concern about not being able to safely change lanes, etc. is more than enough to kill the desire for a car, even one like the Mustang GT. Just look to the Camaro with its bunker-like greenhouse - terrible, borderline dangerous.

The side mirrors got shrunk from the previous generation Mustang, which were not all that big to begin with. I have no idea who in the Ford design department decided that smaller is better, reducing visibility on what is supposed to be a high performance car.
Welcome to the forum! You are correct on the previous gen Mustang mirrors. My 2011's were slightly larger, but visibility is actually better with the new ones. They've moved the location from the previous generation, and have a better range of visibility once set properly. Rear visibility is better also... a larger rear view mirror. I have the Recaros, and for me, it's easier moving in traffic than my 2011. Like's been said... kick the tires, take one for a spin! I think you'll be impressed.

That is all...

They are really small. It would probably concern me more if my top was up... but it never is :)

Mirrors are fine, have better visibility than my Supra, the spotter mirrors are awesome,
When properly adjusted the visibility out of this mustang is better than most cars I have ever owned. The size is perfect IMHO but you should just sit in one on the dealer lot adjust the mirrors the have your GF/wife/Friend walk up along side of the car until you lose them in the rear view. look at your sides and the should be in your spotters. so if a person can't hide in your blind spot, there is no way a car can.

How do you deal with the top down in your winter months, that has to be a bitch with the snow hitting you in the face, not to mention having to shovel out the seats.

After sitting in the Camaro, the Mustang feels like the best visibility car in the world!
I saw a funny picture of a new Camaro with big truck tow mirrors. Looked hideous.

I know these mirrors are tiny but I'm sure it's easy for your brain to adjust to them. They ain't much smaller than my Corolla mirrors.

Wait until you try to sit in the back seat!! Or get in and out of it in crowded parking lots, with the big long doors and recaro seats. It's not very user friendly.

Towing mirrors is what I have it really helps. You can literally see everything. These are a great alternative

You'll find the mirrors are plenty big enough. With the spotter mirrors and everything adjusted right, there are no blind spots, and if you turn your head the visibility is excellent. Not like sitting in a cave like a Camaro.

interesting that the EU version does indeed larger side mirrors. And here I thought the Euros were the ones more concerned about fashion over function.

I did take one for a test drive, and didn't pay attention to the side mirrors at the time, and they seemed fine. However the salesman directed me toward quiet side roads, with minimal traffic. He wasn't all that keen on letting me out on the busy freeway and weaving the 18-wheelers at a high rate of speed. :first:

I care about infotainment
I think BLIS should be standard at this point, or an a-la-carte option. While I'm slowly adjusting the the blindspot mirror that's included, the reduction in real-estate of the main mirror is not ideal. BLIS solves the issues, but I couldn't justify the additional cost of the 401a package that includes that, despite really wanting it.

It took some getting used to but they are more than adequate once adjusted and you've put some miles behind the wheel. The blind spot mirror does its job perfectly, really a nice touch.

Want to see small mirros on a Mustang. Look at any fox body mirror. Those are tiny looks like they had way to many rear view mirros and cut them in half and put them on the outside. The mirrors on the 2015 are fine by me and way bigger then my 91
