Being a GM guy for a number of years, my '18 PP2 is better than my full suspension, cammed and full bolt on '05 GTO, my short lived '18 Grand Sport, and the '18 Camaro SS 1LE that we test drove. Don't get me wrong, the 1LE was a strong contender, but the wife and I were grinning from ear to ear after we test drove an '18 PP1 M6, something the 1LE just didn't leave us with. The exhaust note of the Coyote and a little less refined more raw feel behind the wheel is what sold us. And, the PP2 is even better. It is such a capable car right off the showroom floor for less than $39K. We should all feel lucky to be living in what may be the best automotive era ever.

I needed a decent performing convertible that had a back seat with enough room for my grandkids, that had a warranty and that didn't look like the Camaro (butt ugly). It was either the Mustang GT or BMW M6. Maybe I'll try an M6 next time. In the meantime, my 2018 GT has been trouble free, worry free and a pleasure to drive. The A10 and all of the goodies in the 401A package are a lot of fun. I was a diehard GM fan (Pontiac) for many years.

I have a ridiculous mod list but my son wants this as the next one.

https://www.oreillyauto.com/flux-capacitor?q=121gw
Imagine using the Flux Capacitor to ACTUALLY go back in time... say to 1965 and cruising Woodward Ave in 1965 with your current car; think of the looks you would get, and the difference in speed if someone tried to race you.
Go back even farther... say 50 years even farther back. Now it's 1915, the roadways are crawling with model T's and they hear & see your current Mustang.
Go back to the horse/buggy days...
Go back to the horseback days...
Roman Chariots...
Etc...
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...???????????

They should make a movie about this...!!!

Just traded in my '13 Focus ST for a 2019 Mustang GT Premium with 8500 miles. It had almost every option I wanted, including Black Accent, Active Exhaust, B&O sound, and Safe & Sound. This is my second GT - I had a 2010 GT Premium that I (regretfully) traded in for the Focus ST. I cannot overstate how happy I am to have a RWD manual V8 again. And happy to have found this forum! Future plans, short term, are tint and ceramic coating, then catch can. Longer term, I'd like to pick up some PP1 wheels and probably the Ford Performance Street Suspension package.

And my first GT:

This is my 4th Mustang but 1st brand new one. Every time I buy one I consider Camaros and other cars but always end up with a Mustang.

The only two things I really enjoy are cars and sports. Now that sports are gone, my car and 6g are the only things keeping me sane!

The wife and I have been into motorcycles for the last 20 years. With me turning 65 and hopefully close to retirement we decided it was time to walk away from the bikes while we are able to. I had a couple of Mustangs in the past so naturally it had to be another one and boy do we love it. Our grandkids still think we are pretty cool.

In 1969 my uncle just back from Vietnam took me for a ride in his brand new Mach 1. Loved mustangs ever since. I bought this 4 months ago, got a really good deal. 24500 with only 4000 miles on it. I couldn't pass it up. I've only put 1000 miles on it since then, I don't run around too much and also have a truck.

Whilst it has many of the usual S550 issues, I adore my Mustang.

I waited over 12 months for it to built and delivered, the build up to it's arrival forms part of the story of my Mustang journey.

Owning this car, it has never failed to lift my spirits. I love the induction note of the Coyote as it sucks in air, and the roar of the Borla exhaust from the rear. The design of the S550 is absolute perfection, I love looking down that long bonnet and the view in the rear vision mirrors of those big wide hips. And I love the color, red has become a color I associate with happiness because of my Race Red Mustang.

Normally by now, after just over 3 years, I would be looking for a new car. Not with this one. It has become a big part of my life story, has improved me a person and still gives me a buzz each and every time I get out of it.
