Hey there Alfa,
What sort of high speed was the splitter exposed too? Vmax?
I really like the look of (your) the PP2 extension, but am always afraid it will be left on the side of some highway in the outback, after I have run over it!
Are there physical screws or such, that hold it in place?
Enjoying your build. Keep up the good work!
Al.

Splitter looks great, now browsing the Maxton site considering one! They say you can add trim restorer to the splitter order, any idea what trim restorer is?

Good thread, glad you are getting stuck into "proper" mustang ownership.... she's looking good so far!

One tip from us, we recommend our IRS base pack for every mustang:

https://www.steeda.co.uk/steeda-s550-mustang-irs-base-pack-c2x22649870

It sounds boring, but fit it, and thank us afterwards! Plus of course we ahev plnety more good stuff, so feel free to take a browse and ask any questions you may have....

It's thin plastic piping that goes around the tip of the splitter to stop u bashing it.

Thanks, sounds like it's worth getting then
You can buy trim protectors on Ebay, however the easiest one is to just use electritians tape (Well the hillbilly version), i whack leccy tape on my splitter for drag/track racing. :D

How rubbish when i spoke to them they'd told me it was a protection thing! Bit useless then.
Well I guess it might protect from the elements, dirt, etc but probably not going to guard against chips and scrapes

", with wide 3M tape and lots of fixings. "

I would assume the fixings; are bolts.

@SteveS appears so! They lead me to believe it was like the following (see the trim round the edge)
