Mustang Brake Recall

Anyone have theirs replaced yet? My dealer allegedly ordered the part two weeks ago and I haven’t heard back.

Bought. A 2030 gt a week ago and the car is still sitting on the dealers showroom floor. Operations manager told me 2160 brackets should show up this week. Hopefully one is mine.

Is this the 6.8 liter all wheel drive version?

Parts arrived (much faster than I thought, I expected Xmas week), Appt. scheduled. No matter what car's going into hibernation on 12/19 for the rest of the year until spring.

This is sounding like an echo around here...

Called my ASM friend who was still swamped and understaffed and he was very apologetic. I told him not to worry and that I didn't wanna be a pest.

He pulled up the car and sure enough, the brake recall was there but, no camera. Since my camera appears to be fine for the moment, I asked him to order the part.

He said he would and in passing, said, you have 1473 miles on her.

I grinned and said, there are a couple hundred more than that because I turned off Mother Ford's connection. He laughed but he did need the current mileage to order the part so I texted that to him.

Obviously, he doesn't run across many customers who care about their vehicle's data footprint. :-)

Letter arrived today, but mine has been on order already, just waiting for arrival of the part.

I just received my letter on my 2020 CFTP GT500 Vin#0975!!!

I just got a call from my dealer and the part has been ordered through the Special Service Support Center (SSSC) using the SSSC link at the bottom of the OASIS VIN report screen.

Should be in by the end of the week.

I received a call from my dealer on 12/03 telling me that the parts for the recall had arrived and I scheduled the install for 12/09. I received the recall notice on 12/02.

That is for a limited amount ... Approx 2500. It will take time for their Supply Chain to rev up. IMHO.

Got my letter today. My car was built three days before the end of the recall range. Interestingly enough I looked at the bracket weeks ago and it has the new material sticker on it (nylon).

Oh well, I'll take it in to get it fixed to be on the safe side in the spring when it comes out of storage...

I have both letters now and we will see and will be patient. BTW mine is #1219, not sure if they are sending the recall letters out in any order.

That would be no considering mine is 2492.

If there's an order to the letters, it isn't obvious what the order is. I still haven't received one.
