Hmmm I'm on the fence on this one. The stock sounds deeper to me...the pipe sounds more higher pitched. Both do not sound bad, but I actually like the deeper tone for the 5.0

I'll be putting H-Pipes on my car with active exhaust. It'll be a couple months still though :(

The deep sound is the same on stock vs SVE x-pipe. It is just a lot louder. The only tone difference is in high RPMs. You get much more rasp without the resonator. I like it though.

I'm one of the youngest Gen X, but being military I see what millennials are capable of. Every generation has their quirks and every older generation hates the younger ones for some reason.
I'd wager the WWI vets bitched at those youngun's fighting WWII for being pussies because they didn't charge over no man's land.
Same old story. Gets pretty old.
