See.. there is the problem... you are using NASCAR as an example of FAST cars.... Thats like saying a turd is shiny. Sigh... Check out the really fast cars... like you know... Formula 1 cars... :ninja: With no clutch.
You really just tried using Formula 1 as a comparison?

I say no more:lol:

Ok.. to be clear... they do not drive those cars in the same way we would drive ours... pushing a pedal with their left foot and moving a shift lever. :D

Most car enthusiasts and people on this forum have a manual...it's not surprising why.

If I wanted to just press the gas pedal and race...I would've gotten an auto. I prefer a real challenge.

have fun just using your right foot and playing with your paddles:thumbsup:
Actually 60% of Cars enthusiast prefer automatic transmissions. Check the sales of cars that offer both. Mustangs, corvettes, ETC. I've owned manual transmissions cars, Dragged and road raced them. I prefer to drag race now and the auto is the better choice for that activity. You don't seam to understand the point I'm trying to make so I'm giving up. You keep posting the same angry response about being challenged! I've probably owned 10 manual cars in my lifetime and never once felt challenged by them. If you feel depressing a clutch pedal is some HUGE challenge. More power to ya. But honestly you seam challenged enough already.;)

This was a conversation from a couple days ago, why are you barely responding now?

Plus, did you not just post this on another thread?:

Follow your own advice.

Yet, I'm the challenged one:headbonk:

P.S. "Seam" is spelled "S-e-e-m" You're welcome:thumbsup:

Absolutely, but they still do have a clutch that they release when they launch and that has the possibility of making the car stall if done incorrectly.

(Dont worry, i'm just braking your balls :D )

Why do people with Auto's try to justify auto's in the same way v6/ecoboost owners try to justify a non v8 Mustang? Just say I got an "Auto" because I want comfort and/or I cannot drive stick. Simple!

oh no auto's are faster in a quarter mile bla bla blaaa. How many people with autos actually drag race? Not a lot. But they all want to use the same excuse that they are faster in a 1/4 mile, hence automatics are the real deal this and that.

But yes, now autos are faster if you are drag racing. Unless it is some high end car ,or a DCT, auto's to me are not fun at all.

That being said, no offense intended to any of you with an auto. They're great for general audience.

Speaking of Drag Racing, in all honesty, it requires less skill compared to a track course. It is a different sport, not for me. But kudos to people who love it, I bet it is fun nevertheless.

Why do people with manuals think that should be the only thing offered? Same problem.

Auto owner. Drag racer. Don't care, I'll beat you there.

Uhoh. I'm a poet and didn't knowit. [emoji16]

If you go back and re-check the first page. You can see that 2 people here stirred the pot about the manual.

Every time I read a thread like this, an auto member always seems to initiate it.

You're faster at the 1/4 mile, congrats:thumbsup:

We can buy the GT350, you can't:ford:

You win some, you lose some

You do know that just because a person owns 1 auto car, and loves it, that does not mean they can't also own a stick car... :) I came from a 2012 GT500 with 690rwhp. I know how to drive a stick. ;) i preferred to go the auto route this go-round because of how well they do with a turbo setup, which is in my plans.
