You can always upgrade to a better 6 speed transmission. If Auto isn't what you are looking for there are a couple options, but they are not cheap. A sequential transmission can set you back $15-20k but it is the next best thing to a auto. Or just spend $5,000 or $6,000k for a Tremec Magnum XL Swap. It's much better than the MT-82.

I was going to say why not pick up a Tremec Magnum XL, new drive shaft and clutch for $4500-$5k? Easily will be way cheaper than doing an auto swap with no programming or anything else planned. Sell the MT-82 and stock driveshaft and recoup some of that money.

magnum tranzilla from Rockland standard gear is the only way to go. Youll still need a new driveshaft and clutch. Its about 6g for the transmission and cross memebers alone. However they are whats nelson racing uses. His cars are big blocks and make substantially more power and torque. Its the strongest true manual ive found. The standard magnum xl is not worth it. Anything stronger thats considered a manual will be 7g+ and have a short life for a street car. 10k miles is it. Th400 auto with manual valve body would be a better swap then the r680 in my opinion.
