Also, not hard to figure out that nobody has to pay over sticker for this car. Didn't have to learn that at 'SC...;)
And those people will be without a car generally. Again, not something you need to learn at 'SC.

Please learn to use the multiquote button. Its right there next to the regular quote button.

Also any vette talk about sales/availability is not really relevant, they sell 35,000+ vettes a year.

You can really stop with your fear mongering on here. We get it, you work for a huge dealer in LA, LA of full of idiots with more money than sense, so that really doesnt speak for the rest of the country

I am paying MSRP as are many others, we just arent doing it in this god forsaken state full of morons

He really isnt, the production numbers really are quite adequate if you look at similar cars.

Not too many 60k+ sports cars with manual only selling more than 5000 units a year.
Which is why it is unique in the market and will sell out with no problems. For "those" buyers, there is NO other market. Again, you're going to buy an M3 over this? A Cayman? A base Vette? I personally wouldn't consider any of those over a GT350. So, that's a straw man argument IMO.

And I didn't use multiquote because I've been reading thru page by page.

Just because you wouldn't cross shop those cars doesn't mean many others wont. Those are all the direct competition and all are in the similAr production range if you look at number sold with manuals

It's not fearmongering. I have only sold one GT350 to a board member the rest are off the board. That's not my intention here. None of you look keen to pay our ADM :headbonk: and that's cool, but that has nothing to do with my own enthusiasm for the car. I will not be paying an ADM either. I've already advised people including board members that called and spoke with me that if they are looking for MSRP, go out of state...yes, you'll possibly find them...and no, I don't understand that dealers mentality either, but hey they can sell wherever they want right?

What I'm trying to convey is that for those people that really want one, thinking that they are going to get any cheaper or easier to get one or ten years from now is silly and a roll of the dice. What I don't like seeing are board member passing out bad information about production numbers and pricing when they really have no clue what they are talking about. I advise anyone, if you have the means to pay it and it's a reasonable ADM, well pay it and be happy. The rest of us will have to drool over your pics and videos.

And about the Vettes, you're right which is why when people start talking about ADM's on vettes vs Shelby, it's not the same. And again, having been selling cars at a multi brand dealer, cross shopping on this car is not what you think. Same with GT500. At $65k-$70k, there were plenty of other cars in that range but maybe a tiny percentage would legitimately cross chop a GT500 with a Vette or M car or Anything. Muscle cars have a pretty set demographic as do those other cars. Here in douche city Los Angeles, all the moreso.

In addition, no offence to the Vette guys, but Vette's including Z's never hold their resale value. There's a big dealer on the west coast that was discounting older Z's a couple years ago like $12k off. When have you EVER seen a Shelby or boss as a loss leader?? Exactly.
My GT500 held its value more so than any car I have ever owned. Just sayin' as case in point. The '13-14 have really held their value and will continue to do so. Was worried about mine dropping after the '13 came out but never happened.

And that's what happens when you don't overbuild a car. Ask Ferrari. Ask Lambo. It's provides exclusivity and that's something you can't build with over production. Ford learned that with the early GT500's.

Keep in mind, the more people paying over sticker here on GT350's will help to retain a high resale value in the long run. The BOSS is a perfect example of that. Stickered at $45k, never had incentives, BOSS's now still sell for $35k-$42k generally. Many sold new over MSRP, especially LS models. Just sold a 2013 School Bus Yellow BOSS, super clean, 12k miles for $41k with an extra set of tires. Not trying to win anyone over or make adm sound like a gift haha, but if you're paying over sticker, it's not all bad in the long run.

Im not trying to pick a fight here or high jack the thread for sure but based in my area and we have a number of GT500's for sale. I don't know if any of them are decent of not but not bad prices IMHO but less than what I would expect for limited build car. In a couple cases, never know if folks are hard up for cash though. Very different car of course but has me thinking for sure. I don't know much about the GT500 just posting what I see.

And we've repeatedly told you that Ford ACKNOWLEDGED that mistake and henceforth reduced it's production every year after. Why are you so dense about that?? Wow man.

HENCEFORTH means from NOW on. Since your statement contains, "every year after," you are speaking of a past occurance and, "From THAT point on" would be the accurate way to express your statement.

By the way, I had a great transaction from Galpin in 2010 when I bought my 2011 GT Premium with Brembo, nav, sync..... Carlos Alfaro was my internet sales guy. He stood by his word and I was very satisfied with the transaction.

Without venturing an opinion on whether you are right or wrong, I will say, that I'm not sure your, "Tone" creates goodwill for your establishment. I can't imagine someone reading this and saying, I'm dying to go to Galpin, they really respond respectfully to die hard FORD customers.

Just sayin.....

Those are solid numbers for the most part. The MSRP of the 2014 was $67K. The '13 around $63K no options. The '12 MSRP was $54K new...no elect pkg...high mi though for the asking price. You can see when they creep below $40K they still depreciate of course but very slowly. Few cars depreciate that slowly. I may have to do a search on LS 302's. I would think they depreciated even less from MSRP given only 700 were built each year.

Cars.com had only 6 Boss 302 LS listed.... all 2012's. MSRP was $48K. Three with miles (avg 9K) were listed for $44K and three with less than 500 miles each were listed from $49-53K.:eyebulge:

I wonder if those were dealer cars that never sold.

Call me crazy, I dont see anyone buying a LS Boss302 for 50k when the GT350 base is 50k

Agreed but nope each was used. I read the ads. A collector will eventually buy them I imagine.
