I just reviewed the revisions and logs I sent over to them before the final tune was given to me. The car was seeing on average 2* of knock on a good log, and it was seeing as much as 9.998 at times. Not sure why that wasn't noticed.
9.9WHAT!!!!brother u better not do anymore wot pulls to u get to the bottom of that.

Yeah and if your seeing that much knock you should fel it too. If it's sustained, the car will still accelerate decent, buy feel soft. Your generating a ton of heat if it's retarding timing that much and you are wot.

So many of these cars (including mine) with false knock issues are centris. I haven't seen one PD blower false knock thread.

Anyone think the head units may be hitting/vibrating against the hood when the engine is under load and moves slightly within the motor mounts?

I've had two performance shops check my car over and find nothing. Going to check myself soon.
Hummm your procharger is close to the hood ? Did you install it upside down or something ? Paxton is the blower that sticks up like a sore dick not procharger ..:D

Just reviewed another log today and it's back! 17.3* timing in 3rd and 5th gear, and a whopping 10* timing in 4th. Guess it's just how these cars run

I don't think it's just how these cars run. But it seems like a lot of people both na and fi are having "false knock" and I bet some of it is in the tuning but every tuner thinks there shit don't stink.

Yeah but is it the kind of "false knock" that goes away when you put Torco in the gas tank? Bummer because mine is that kind.

That seems to be a popular solve for the tuner diagnosed "False" knock issue. Frustrated to the point where i'm probably just going to get the boostworks twins and be done with it.

If torco made your "false knock" go away, IT WAS NOT FALSE, you were knocking.

Yeah, don't I know it. I can't help but think it just isn't made to work with the 91 octane that we have around here.

negative its the computer adding said number of degrees, positive is computer pulling said number of degrees.
