SC Whine & False Knock?

Purchasing the ESS G3 and I see the option for the straight cut gears for the traditional SC whine. For those that have done this mod, any issue with the whine leading to false knock? Without the straight cut, these kits seem pretty quiet and while I love to hear the whine, I'm not willing to trade that for chasing knock issues.

I have the G3 w/straight cut gears on my car. No false knock issues.

I’ve never heard of straight cut gears causing knock issues. I’ve had both and never had an issue with knock.
