I'd much rather have something like the following over a mudflap:

Molded and contoured to body not a bolted on cutting board. This isn't an STi.

Threebanger: My front installation was not was bad as yours. The tops were about 1/2 to 3/4 inch closer to the fender rim. Close enough so that when I trimmed the outer section, there was no downward curve on the inside section adjacent to the fender. The hole positions are not only incorrect but it looks like the positions vary from unit to unit. Oh, well...I guess RPI is just following the Flat Rock method of manufacturing.
I have these installed, the tops of the front guards move and I am not excited by the install or the quality. They don't like like a $50 product, Sorry RPI, I am not thrilled. I sent an email to them today to see if I can return them, I will advise of their answer to you folks.

Damn...this is taking toooooooo long!

Hey Ford...when are you going to produce molded mud guards for the S550????

Hopefully before the 2017 Mustangs hit the showroom!

I ordered the RPI Designs splash guards, installed the fronts no issue and generally happy, I hardly notice they are there which is good, although they do seem prone to getting small stones stuck between the flap and fender. The rears are another issue though. Have now given up on those. The mounting method with the screws just seems pretty average. Also not sure if this is just something on the non-US spec cars, but there is a bit of plastic molding on the rear arch which gets in the way. It also has a mounting screw in the spot where the top splash guard screw is supposed to go and is bigger that the supplied splash guard screws. Has anyone installed these on a non-US model mustang?.
IMO both the overpriced AM guards and the Jaeger ones look a bit ugly with their big rubber U channels. I still can't believe Ford hasn't produced OEM splash guards yet

I had the RPI mudguards and they suck. Didn't even put them on because they were so cheap looking. I don't know why Ford won't make molded ones yet. I mean we are almost into the MY 17 cars! WTF??

I had the RPI ones, sent them back and swallowed the pill that are the AM ones. Were it not for the fact I have to traverse a gravel road frequently I would never have paid over $100 for tiny little pieces of plastic.

Why Ford or others haven't come out with something for this car is beyond me.

Hey, there's splash guards being developed here: https://www.zl1addons.com/

They don't have the rears ready yet though. Those are way more important to me than the fronts.
