aggieStang we have a 3d printer (specificallly an Ultimaker 2) at my office. I am not proficent at 3d programs at all, I end up using sketchup for most of my experiments. But would love to help out cuz i believe we as stang drivers are going to have to come up something more stylish than that plastic board that everyone else sells.

Detailed my car this weekend and i have a shit ton of pin hole size chips on my door :eyebulge:, lower front area, just pasted the fender and i'm only lowered on stock PP tires/wheels. Need something soon. And would love to contribute any possible. Would be cool to do a mounting solution similar to the rear gt350s if that was even possible

aggieStang here are the two posts i found where Jmeo installed his. they go into the fender. Not sure if the front on ours has anything behind the liner to mount to for a oem fit. As the gt350 doesn't have any front splashes.

RubyRed15 im abit annoyed at this, i've only had it since Oct and barely have lil more that 2200 miles on it, less than 50% highway daily for that matter only like 5 miles of it.

I wish i new this issue ahead would have spent money to clear bra the whole car. Next year i'll have a polka dotted car.

Yeah, I am probably going to wrap the sides of mine, too. I've already repaired thousands of chips w/Dr. ColorChip, and I'm going to have to do a 2nd round before I can wrap. 5k mi. :headbonk:

Are you running spacers or a more aggressive wheel setup?

Factory EB/PP setup.
Dang that's disheartening, I've only got a few hundred miles on mine and haven't discovered any chips yet. Hopefully some molded guards come to the market soon.

They look similar but the U channels look different and longer. I personally don't like the idea of the U channels because of removing to clean and scratching the paint. Cuz it will no matter how careful you are.

I'm not a fan of the U channels either but they seem the best option to me for now. Just a thought: how about some clear vinyl wrap applied under the areas where the splash guards actually attach to the paint?

That's not a bad idea.

And to think i was only going to get chips if i got spacers, reason why i held off getting those.

These look just like the AM ones, but cost less (they do add $15 for shipping tho ).

Anyone that has the AM ones, can you confirm if the "clips" on these look the same ?
Yes I do, and these look exactly the same Mike.
