So just out of curiosity, what do you guys recommend as far as upgrades for a Gen 2 coyote MT82 car to handle a 200 shot, engine, trans, drive train, fuel, everything g ? My car is currently on 100 but I’m looking to increase that soon.

IMO the ring gaps need to be widened.

I ordered my kit through Holley, everything fit great and didn’t have to modify a thing. How is your car holding up? What have you done for supporting mods and to be sure the car can hold up to it. My car has right at 80k

This car will also be a roll car only, currently set up with a 2 stage progressive controller from 4k-7.6k

I am on a 150 hp shot with a Nitrous Outlet plate kit. I have a BAP, one step colder plugs, progressive controller (set to spray at the same rpm range as your car) and I’m running E85. My car dyno’d at 639 rwhp/602 rwtq..

One of the tech guys at N/O told me he wouldn’t recommend running over a 150 hp shot on E85. I know a few have done it with great results, but it might be pushing it a bit too far. I’m guessing at a minimum, you might want to run two steps colder plugs. Good luck and please report back what your results are.

I’m assuming you have a 3rd Gen coyote, to break over 600 wheel on 150. I’m running a 100 shot, LU47s, 93 octane, 2 stage progressive controller and 1 step colder plugs. It pulls great and does very well.

Yes, I have a 3rd Gen Coyote. If you’re on 93 octane, I would think that E85 wI’ll be your friend on a 200 shot because of the cooling factor and higher octane rating. Is it not available in SC? Are you wanting to add another 100 shot on the second stage?

I don’t have a FB account, but there is a lot of info. the Nitrous Coyotes page.

We have E85 but it’s not abundant in my area, the closest place is a 2hr drive away but supposedly 1 store in my area has 100+ octane but I haven’t checked it out, I’d only be comfortable running 150 shot max on that fuel though. Yes I want overall a 200 shot, I have a wet plate system.

How much hp/tq are you currently making on nitrous?

I don’t have an exact number since the car just got introduced to nitrous. N/A it made 450whp so I’m assuming the 540whp area or so. Would like to see the car break 600 then plan to do a ton of weight reduction.
