Has anyone figured out how to turn on the fog lights without having to turn on the headlights? I would like to be able to drive with the fog lights as daytime running lights.

I use to have the fogs as DRLs along with the tri-bars as running lights, I changed the setting in forscan so they came on when you started the car, but I changed that since I didnt see the point in having the tribars the signal lights and the fogs, So I changed the whole look of the car.

Thats one way, the other if you don't want to dabble with changing bits, you can change it from the common forscan BCM or BCM II section and apply.

Has anyone tried any of the codes on a 2018? I wouldn't expect any major difference, but just curious as I am thinking of getting a 2019.

I need a cheat sheet. I'm not sure I understand the DRL options. Basically I want just the fog lamps in the front to be on during the day(and maybe not even those). I'm adding demon eyes and don't want the tri-bars or amber lights to distract from them.

Enabled DRL Selection:

Legality aside, is that correct?

As far as I know the Tri-Bars are not controlled by anything, they are constant power on And forscan cannot turn them off.

The only way to turn the gil lights off is to unplug them.

Here you go boys... let me know. This one was fun to figure out. I was previously restricted to low beams only and any other change would give an invalid configuration error in FORScan. Well this changes that...

01 = Disabled / Parking Lights Only (See change below)
02 = Low Beams
04 = Front Fog Lamps
08 = Front Turn Lamps
10 = Dedicated DRL Lights (LED Light Bars/Strips) - Enables BCM DRL Outputs - C2280F Pins 36 (Right) and 40 (Left)
20 = High Beams
40 = Low Beams and Dedicated DRL Lights

Optional: Enable DRL Parking Lights:
Can be combined with other DRL options above
726-26-02: x1xx xxxx xxxx

Optional: Disable DRL Switchback w/Turn Signal:
726-26-02: xxx0 xxxx xxxx

On/Off for these is controlled from the Instrument Cluster DRL Control.


I know many of you change wiring and such to accomplish some of these which can be now changed in seconds... so enjoy!

Have a issue I am tring to figure out.

I have 17 Mustang GT and I swaped the base head unit out to the Sync 3 with Navigation.

I for the life of me can't get the Navigation Icon moving in the right direction. It is tracking completely backward from the direction I am traveling. If I am heading north the Icon goes that way, but like I am traveling backwards. It also shows the opposite direction in the gauge cluster, if going North it shows South and so forth.

I have done all the ForScan codes, enabled Drive Mods, fixed the toggles, etc.. all seems to work, except the Nav moving in the right direction on the screen. If I could somehow flip the icon or tell the system I am not backing.. it would work perfect.

I also swaped the GPS antenna out once, thinking it might have been a bad antenna.. Nope still tracking backwards.

Also tired Master reset, pulling the neg cable off the battery for 10 minutes.. no luck.

There has to be something I am missing?

I'm confused then. I'm my head the DRL's are the gills, the projectors are the headlights, the ambers are park/turn lights and the fogs are fogs.

Guess I'll have to put the "DRL's" on a relay so they are off when the demon eyes are on...

DRLs are in the European market.
The US-spec cars have no dedicated DRL, and the EU cars don't have gills.
