Just as a FYI... I currently have a PLX Kiwi 2 Bluetooth that I use with the torque app.. With Forscan it was able to see the BCM APIM and PCM.. I was able to do the fog lights/police mode and no double horn honk... Thanks to you guys!!!!!!

I have a 300A ( base model GT).. Im not even sure what Sync it has.. its that Sync 2? anyway the splash screen mod didn't work.. tried a bunch of them.. still get the chrome Mustang with the blue background... so either it can't be done on the base or its a different address...

Thanks again though guys!!!!

The base just has "Sync" - Sync 2 is AKA MyFordTouch and is an 8" touchscreen.

Two more for APIM, grabbed from the F-150 guys and confirmed for my 2016 GT:

Seat Climate Control (if equipped) on Home and Climate Screen
7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx x2xx enabled, functional
7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx x0xx disabled

Navigation
7D0-01-02 x2xx xxxx xxxx enabled
7D0-01-02 x0xx xxxx xxxx disabled (Home Screen showing Compass)

I disabled Nav because it's useless in EU until EU maps are available.
Are you sure about the nav option not working?

I actually do use my nav regularly, and it works flawlessly. All I did was grabbing an Euro SD-Card (labeled F4) popped it in and that's it.

Give it a try!

Really impressed with the work y'all are doing. I'm inspired to throw my hat in the ring soon.

I have access to any and all Ford internal shop manuals/engineering manuals/workshop/wiring diagrams whatever you're looking for. I can contribute in as much information as y'all need. Tag me/PM me/Send me a message on IG/whatever to let me know you need it and I'll be happy to send it your way or post it in here.

Also, For reference. The Boss 302 Track key once upon a time was nothing more than going into the Global system, turning on track key, and programming a regular ol' Ford key to be the dedicated "track key". There was nothing particular about the key itself, or the programming. It already existed.

My suggestion is someone with three keys should turn track key on, which I can verify is available in the Ford IDS at the dealerships, program two normal administrative keys and then program the third in the track key mode position. It should be available when you add the transceiver key id. Unless the tune is unavailable in the pcm/bcm I don't know why it wouldn't work.

I'm assuming the tune wouldn't be available

Ford's known for building things in the cars and then disabling them for legal purposes. I wouldn't make the assumption until we at least give it a shot. Prior to the Boss 302 track being offered, it was rumored. When the key was released, all Ford techs did was program it and turn the function on. It wasn't loading a tune at that point.

It has to be red vs black keys, not the track cal add on. That needed the PCM to be flashed, but the car worked fine with either key if you didn't flash.

The only thing that separated a track key from a standard key is the transceiver i.d. being uniquely registered to the car in the track key position. You could program a black key into a track key position and vice versa. The key is inherently "bias" as to what duty it performs. Transceivers on the steering column are pretty one dimensional as far as it's ability to pick up other types of key id's.

Agent_S550,

In your travels, think you can pinpoint something that I want to change also, We have rocker switches to change driving modes (4 in total, Normal, Sport, Track & Wet/Snow), I'm thinking this is controlled by a code not to remember similar to the fogs not being remembered its last state. I'm thinking this is in the BCM or BCM or possibly the FICM (Thats a stretch I think), I would love to find the module if its not the BCM's as to where the code is to have it remember the last setting the rocker switch was set at.

Also found this digging through some F150 forum, someone in this thread was looking for a way to extend the radio time from its default setting, Try this out and see if it works:

Stereo timeout period:

7D0-01-01-xx4x-xxxx-xxxx (4 = 40 minutes)

I think ours is set to 20 minutes, so try changing the 2 to a 4 and see if it works, if it does you probably can change it to 6 and get a full hour, but remember your battery can be drained. I didnt test it cause I never sit that long in the car :D

Yeah. I get that.

But when they built the bosseseses, the keys were pretty much the same until the procal was loaded. Right?

Has anyone found the setting to enable the window auto-up feature? This is disabled for some reason in the 2015 convertibles and I'm hoping it is something that can be changed without needed to change the window switches.

Thanks!
