Is anyone that knows how these changes can be done by using VCM II with IDS software?
I would think the options would be right there in the menus (in drop downs) instead of having to manually change the values like we are here.

something like this:

Thanks for trying the digital speedometer angeldeath! Sucks that it doesnt work. Its weird that the screen can display it in engineering mode but not in regular mode. I wonder why that is a GT 350 only thing?

the engineering mode is not really a digital speedo gauge. it's just a numeric output. the digital speedo is an actual digital gauge.

I guess I'm gonna subscribe to this too. I've been toying with the idea of playing with this for a while, but I haven't had the time yet. I've got everything here to do it though, so I guess there's no time like the present, right? Lol

My manual claims that we do.
it literally says 'pinch protection'?

my manual does not mention it.

I have a 2015, though.

edit: i'm an idiot. called 'bounce back' in the manual. we MUST figure this out. I need global close.

Well without "Global Close" or a digital speedo, I'm out. Those are the only two things worth changing to me.

interesting. not interested in stopping the stupid double honk? or having high beams and fogs on at same time? or disabling the ridiculous interior lights everytime you open your door?

I would probably do those if I made the other changes, but those by themselves aren't that important to me. They'd be nice, but no where near as nice as Global Close & a digital speedometer.

Stang Nut,

Seriously how often are you really going to use the Global Close? I could see using it if you forgot it open and it was raining, or if you just forgot, but how often is that going to be? Digital Speedo, okay that one I'll give you, would look cool.

But come on, we havent even begun to tap into what can be done.
